OUR STORY — From Kumusha Kwedu to Your Table

Kutswa Meats is more than a business. It's a love letter to Zimbabwe, a tribute to our roots, and a promise to carry the taste of home across every border between you and the people you love. Ours are the flavours of childhood summers spent kumusha (at the village); not holidays, but a way of life. We herded cattle, tilled the land, and learned the quiet pride of kuzvirimira, of feeding your own. Those mornings taught us the deep bond between the land, the food it gives, and the family it gathers. That bond became a farm. What began as a few cattle in Rusape has grown into a thriving livestock operation where old values meet modern care, raising some of the finest beef, goat and lamb in the country. Our name says who we are. Kutswa is the age-old art of pounding grain in the duri (mortar) with the mutswi (pestle) a patient, honest work that turns the raw into the nourishing. We bring that same patience to every animal we raise and every cut we pack. Nothing rushed. Nothing hidden. Just the taste you remember.

The heart of it

“Ukama igasva, hunozadziswa nekudya.”

Distance shouldn’t break the table. When you can’t be there for the Sunday braai, the birthday, or just to make sure Mum and Dad are eating well — we go in your place.

How it works

Four steps, one peace of mind

Wherever you are, sending love home takes minutes.

  1. Choose a hamper

Pick from our curated hampers, or build your own.

  2. Pay securely from anywhere

Card, EcoCash or bank transfer, from the UK, South Africa, the USA, Australia and beyond. What you pay is what your family receives.

  3. We prepare it fresh

Cut, packed and kept cold on our farm, handled the way we’d handle our own family’s meat.

  4. Delivered to their door

We deliver across Harare and send a photo or confirmation the moment it’s received. You’ll see the smile you paid for.

Why Kutswa Meats

Farm-run, family-run,
always fresh.

Six promises we make to every family who trusts us with their table, kept from our own Rusape pastures to your mother’s kitchen.

  • 01

From our pastures to their plate

We raise, cut and pack everything ourselves on our Rusape farm. No middlemen and no mystery, just meat we would proudly serve our own family.

  • 02

    Grass-fed and all natural

Our cattle, goats and sheep roam free and graze the open veld. No added hormones and no animal by-products. Honest meat, the way it was meant to be.

  • 03

    Premium cuts, every single time

Succulent beef, flavourful chevon, tender lamb and mutton. Every order is cut fresh and packed cold, ready for the pot or the braai.

  • 04

You pay from anywhere. They receive it all.

Secure international payment with transparent pricing. Every dollar you spend goes into the hamper that lands at their door.

  • 05

    Proof it arrived

Every delivery comes with a photo or confirmation, so you see it land. Distance, but never doubt.

  • 06

    Family caring for yours

We’re a family-run farm, and it shows in the care of every cut and the warmth of every call.
